Wilderness First Aid
Wilderness First Aid is medical emergency training that takes place in a wilderness or remote setting at least 60 minutes away from definitive care (hospital, clinic, etc.). Such an emergency can require specialized skills, treatment techniques, and knowledge in order to manage the patient for an extended period of time before and during evacuation. This course will provide you with the skills necessary to take medical action in a remote setting.
Tactical Combat Casualty Care
the standard of care in Pre Hospital Battlefield Care. The TCCC Guidelines are routinely updated and published by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC). TCCC was designed in the mid-'90s for the Special Operations medical community. Originally a Naval Special Warfare and USSOCOM Medical Research & Development initiative, TCCC developed battlefield appropriate and evidence-based casualty care based on injury patterns of previous conflicts.
